Hello, everyone. I wanted to take a few minutes and introduce myself. My name is Jerry Hubbard, and I am an Eclectic Faerie/Wicca Practioner. I own and operate Modern Mythos, as the sole jewelry designer and artisan. I participate in many local Pagan activities in the valley of the sun, including E.P.I.C. (Eclectic Practioners In Contact); East and West Phoenix Meetup Groups, respectively; and I will also be the volunteer coordinator for Phoenix Pagan Pride Day for 2012.

I am looking forward to speaking with all of you. If there's anything I can do, or anything I can help with, please don't hesitate to let me know.

Hi Jerry,

It's very nice to meet you.

Could you please tell me more about your path? I'm a very new Wiccan and would like to find out more about the different paths.

My path is extremely Eclectic. I have found many things in relation to the Fae Realms that I follow, in addition to some things from the "structure" of basic Wicca. I don't follow any particular tradition, but if someone looks into the writings of Ann Moura, such as the "Green Witchcraft" series, with particular attention to the details involving the Fae.

It's very difficult when describing a path, because most paths involve a lifetime, literally, of events, studies, and people whom have affected that path. For a new Wiccan, I would suggest starting with Scott Cunningham's books, as he lays out many details very simply. After becoming more knowledgeable about Wicca as a whole, I moved on from Scott's books and "teachings", to Ann Moura's. I never feel I've answered a question like this enough, so please, feel free to ask more particular questions, whether that be now, or any time in the future...

I have actually read Scott Cunningham's Wicca a guide for the solitary Practitioner! The book was written very simply so even i could understand it. I'm looking for more of his books, but RSA has a limited suply as far as I've seen.

@ Jerry: The path your on sounds pretty interesting. I'd love to know more, but for now I think I'll go a-hunting for more of Scott's books Very Happy
