Release Ritual or Spell

I have decided I am in need of some sort of 'release' spell or ritual.

'Release' specifically being as follows: release from any desires to bond together again in romantic form, release from any emotional hurt we have caused each other, release from any emotional 'hold' we might have on each other, etc.

I have never done a spell or ritual, and as such don't know what to do, what I need, what to say, etc. The idea came to me of releasing a balloon, but I am not sure I like the idea of the balloon in the environment.
